Silk Kite-cards For Palestine
These cards are hand-painted on silk - each one a unique original. They feature a Kite flying across a sky or landscape which may hold the colours found in the Palestine Flag. Some cards show kites flying over other colours, all of which symbolise important qualities spiritual significance.

Each card is unique and made to order so there is variety. Some are in an oval frame while others are in a rectangle. Some are simple diamond-shaped kites, some hexagonal while others we describe as 'Fancy' shapes. All designs arising from photographs of kites flying in Palestine.
Some include all the Palestine Flag colours and some are dominated by one colour - especially blue and green. We use liquid dyes and they move in their own way. Some kites are almost completely white while others may be completely filled by the background colours as if they are flying through clouds or smoke.
You can specify which you would prefer to dominate - as we often make them to order and can respond to these requests - but there is no guarantee as it also depends on stock available - including the type of card-frames.
Funds raised by these card-sales are sent to families in Gaza, so we work to tight margins when it comes to materials.
Most people are devastated to see what is happening in Gaza and Palestine - indeed all the suffering in the world. At the moment there are over 100 conflicts around the world, with starvation in many counties. We can feel overwhelmed and helpless when we see this - but if we can find something practical to do to reduce the suffering it really does make a difference.
